Access Group breaks ground for Access Residencies Thalawathugoda

Diversified Access Group yesterday broke ground for its maiden property development venture – Access Residencies Thalawathugoda at 733, Pannipitiya Road, Thalawathugoda.

The new subsidiary Access Residencies Ltd., will specialise in property development including condominium, mix development and housing projects.

Access Residencies Thalawathugoda comprises 63 units in nine floors. Extent of the property is 72.2 perches. The projected date of completion is set to end August 2019. Residences are available for purchase with prices ranging from Rs. 14 million – Rs. 29 million.

Access Chairman Sumal Perera and Access ResidenciesGroup Director and Managing Director Theo Fernando officiated at the ground breaking ceremony. The project is close to Austasia International Sports and Leisure complex.

Acknowledging the growing trend in the number of residential apartments in Colombo, Access Residencies Director and Chief Operating Officer Kamal Yatawara said the unique quality of theresidential tower in being its prime location with close proximity to state of the art medical, educational and sports facilities.

He said the benefits from an investor standpoint includes the appreciation in land prices by over 30% in the area over the past few years.

The construction of the residencies will be undertaken by Access with architectural and structural work done by Design Consortium International Ltd.
