RB Realtors and Consultants: New star in real estate industry in Sri Lanka

RB Realtors and Consultants Ltd. is a company named after and co-owned by Richard Buultjens, a well-known and respected personality in the real estate industry in Sri Lanka. John Foo, a Fund Manager and an investor from Singapore, is the other co-owner.

The company was formed to fill a gap in the Sri Lankan real estate industry for a professional outfit, to provide high quality real estate sales and marketing solutions to developers, investors and home owners. Achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction is the primary objective of the company.

The Directors of the company are John Foo, Chairman, Richard Buultjens, Managing Director/CEO and Jasmine Foo, Director.

John is a fund manager and the CEO and CIO of Kingsmead Asset Management Ltd. which is a registered Fund Manager in Singapore and manages the Kingsmead Asian Alpha Opportunities fund which is an Asian Equity long/short fund focused on absolute return investing.

He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He previously worked in the financial industry with various global financial institutions such as Morgan Stanley, Merril Lynch and CS First Boston in Asia. He is a citizen of the Republic of Singapore.

Richard Buultjens, the Managing Director/CEO is one of the most successful and experienced figures in the Real Estate Industry having entered the apartment industry while it was still in its infancy and could very well be considered as being one of the pioneers of the apartment industry in Sri Lanka.

A Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), Richard is also a Member of the Institute of Export (UK), a Member of the Association of Business Executives (UK), and also holds an MBA from the University of Honolulu.

Jasmine is principally involved in managing her various family interests and overseeing a family office. She obtained an MBA from the University of Chicago and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She previously worked in the financial industry with various global financial institutions such as JP Morgan and UBS. She is a Citizen of the Republic of Singapore and is the sister of John Foo.

RB Realtors is currently consulting for a very large developer from Singapore who is considering a large mixed development in Colombo and RB Realtors is also the consultant to one of the biggest conglomerates in Sri Lanka. Besides, RB Realtors is also exclusively handling the Marketing and Sales effort for a high end condominium project in Colombo 5.
