The Flemington breaks ground for August 2018 completion

On 6 November, EliSh Development Ltd. commenced construction of The Flemington – aluxury condominium complex in Rajagiriya.

The groundbreaking ceremony was preceded by a religious ceremony at the site with the participation of EliSh Managing Director, Shamitha Ganegoda, as well as a gathering of invitees, including investors in the project and future residents of the condominiums.

The Flemington is located 500m from Colombo along the Nawala Road, Rajagiriya, close enough to have a finger on the pulse of the city with the lush greenery of the Sri Jayewardenepura environs as a backdrop. The luxury condominium complex was designed by award winning architect DarnieRajapakse, who won a merit award at the 2014 SLIA design awards for her work on the Jungle Beach Resort in Trincomalee. Her design outlook for The Flemington focusses on maintaining a balance between content, aesthetics and innovation.

Each of the 30 apartments at The Flemington boasts three bedrooms including a master bedroom with a walk in closet, en-suite bathrooms, three balconies, as well as a separate maid’s entrance and bathroom. Apart from access to parking, 24 hour security and CCTV monitoring, residents will receive the best of luxury living amenities including a swimming pool, gymnasium, rooftop entertainment pods, BBQ facilities, a function room and a clubhouse.

Ganegoda assured The Flemington’s future residents that delivery would take place as scheduled. “We’re completely confident that our clients will be able to move into their new homes at the specified time,” he said. EliSh has partnered with NK Construction and engineering consultant Dayananda Associates to breathe life into these living spaces. “Our partners are similarly committed to ensuring The Flemington will be ready for occupancy by August 2018.”
