Seylan Bank honours exemplary performers at Annual Sales Awards 2022

Seylan Bank recently hosted the 6th consecutive Annual Sales Awards 2022 at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel’s Oak Room, celebrating the outstanding achievements of the Bank’s Sales Teams and Relationship Officers, recognising their unwavering commitment to sales excellence. 

This year too, the bank brought together the entire group of front runners, including the Direct Sales Team and Relationship Officers. Themed “Greater Together,” the Seylan Annual Sales Awards 2022 emphasised the power of collaboration, teamwork, and unity in the pursuit of driving sales/ business. The theme of the night expressed Seylan Bank’s firm belief of working together to overcome challenges, achieve extraordinary results, and build a thriving sales community. It is also noteworthy that the teams contributed towards the highest ever profit in the history of Seylan Bank’s operations. Assistant General Manager – Marketing & Sales , Gamika de Silva said: “The relentless efforts of our Sales Teams and Relationship Officers have always been instrumental in achieving our goals and cementing our name as the benchmark in the banking and financial services industry in Sri Lanka. Having said that, we congratulate all the winners for their outstanding achievements and commend their exemplary performance throughout the year. Their agile spirits were certainly no match for the challenging period that was endured during the past year. With the collective efforts of our talented employees, we are confident that next year will bring even greater accomplishments and milestones.”

Among the special awards presented during the ceremony were the “Best of the Best” awards for relationship officers and liability sales, recognising those who consistently performed above 100% in all assigned pillars throughout the year. The esteemed Hall of Fame award celebrated extraordinary individuals who achieved remarkable monthly records and demonstrated the highest monthly achievements in 2022. 

The climax of the evening was the announcement of the most prestigious awards of the night: the Most Outstanding Sales Person and the Most Outstanding Team Leader of the Year- Relationship Officer category, which were won by Krishnapillai Sivagajan and Shamil Perera respectively. Additionally, Pradeep Madushanka secured the Most Outstanding Sales Person accolade, alongside Mahesh Ekanayake who clinched the title of Most Outstanding Sales Leader from Direct sales unit. These honours acknowledged the exemplary performance, leadership, and dedication exhibited by the recipients.
