Belgium’s Jetair introduces Sri Lanka as a winter destination

Jetair, the leading tour operator in Belgium, has introduced Sri Lanka as a South Asian destination, and will operate weekly charter flights from Brussels to Colombo commencing 31 October 2010.

Aitken Spence, the ground handling agents inform that they are getting ready with the arrangements which will be a huge boost to the tourist industry. The year round direct flights connecting the capitals (every Sunday) during winter will add a novel experience to the Belgian travellers who have grown fond of Sri Lanka.

Undisputedly the Sri Lankan tourist industry now remains a vital element of the country’s socio economic development.
