Bradman to talk at British Scholars’ Association event

The British Scholars’ Association is hosting “2020 – Dreams and Realties” a lecture by Deshamanya Bradman Weerakoon at the British Council Auditorium on Thursday, 4 November 2010 commencing at 6 p.m.

A well respected Civil Servant and Administrative Officer, Deshamanya Bradman Weerakoon, has held the highest positions in the Civil and Administrative service and has also headed large commercial organisations like SriLankan Airlines as Chairman. During his career he has served 7 Prime Ministers and worked in NGOs such as the International Planned Parenthood Federation as a Secretary-General. He has served in all parts of the country and held various positions, handling subjects from disaster management to developing villages. Bradman Weerakoon will deal with this interesting subject objectively at this critical time in our nation’s history.

The British Scholars’ Association which is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year is extending an open invitation to the public for this lecture.
