CK Group’s latest developments in automotive battery market

Furukawa Company is a subsidiary of The Furukawa Battery Company in Japan. The Furukawa Battery Company is the direct supplier (OEM) to world renowned motor vehicle manufacturing companies namely Toyota, Honda and Isuzu in Japan and Thailand. CK Group has established a very strong relationship with the above companies whilst operating as the sole agent in Sri Lanka. Further, within a very short period of time the company has reached to a higher level in the motorcycle and the automotive battery arena. One of the major features of co-operate philosophy of CK Group is introducing new products with advanced and latest technology to meet the current requirements of the market. At present FB brand as a branded product in the world market for over 50 years is playing a major role with Japanese Technology on the motorcycle and automotive battery market in Sri Lanka. The company is strengthened with the widest dealer network in Sri Lanka. CK Group’s product brands consist of FB, SB (ISO 9001, 2000 standard, ISO/TS/16949 standard), Konei, Yawata and the above brands have secured a major share in the battery market. Having realised the quality of FB branded battery the company has placed a further step to introduce FB branded Three-wheeler and Hybrid Truck Battery at a very reasonable price to the market. The company is confident the introduction of FB Three-wheeler and Hybrid Truck Battery will create a new era in the battery market. As the company has introduced the FB Three-wheeler and Hybrid Truck Battery base on a very effective pricing policy, not only the end user is directly benefited but also there are a lot of indirect value additions to the economic growth of the country.
