CMA Sri Lanka releases Certified Management Accountant Journal

The first copy of the March 2014 issue of the Certified Management Accountant Journal was presented by Journal Committee Chairman Adrian Perera to CMA Sri Lanka President Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala, on 3 March 2014.
The theme of the journal is ‘SME Sector a dominant contributor to GDP’ and contains many articles of value to the SME Sector.
The journal contains articles both from local and foreign writers, on the subject of the contribution of the SME sector to the GDP. Dr. Seetha L. Wickremasinghe examines SMEs and the employment generation in the rural sector while Mausumi Bhattacharyya, Assistant Professor Serampore College, India writes about SME Rating. Basheer Ismail and Sivasubramaniam discuss the implication of taxation on the SME sector. Entrepreneurship, micro financing, fuelling of SMEs, business failure, low income housing, enhancing competitiveness of SMEs are some of the other articles published in the journal.
Many students of economic analysis and the entire business community will find the journal a compendium of useful information that is of lasting interest.
