Commercial Bank goes to Velanai

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon has opened a branch in Velanai to enhance access for the Bank’s growing customer base in the Jaffna Peninsula.

Located at Kurikattawan Road, Bangalawadi Junction, Velanai, the Commercial Bank’s 195th branch is equipped with all facilities available at other Commercial Bank branches.

This is the ninth Commercial Bank branch in the Jaffna Peninsula and will serve the Bank’s customers in Punkudutheevu, Nagadeepa, Alleypitty, Mankumban, Suruvil, Narandenai, Suravanai and Kayts.

The new branch is computer-linked to all other branches and supermarket banking counters of the Bank islandwide, enabling online real-time banking.
