The relatively small but very energetic Italian Car Enthusiast’s Club of Sri Lanka, usually better known for its track days and rallies, organised their first-ever Concorso D’Eleganza, (Competition of Elegance in English) on Sunday 8 May 2011.
The venue was the car park of the city’s best known Italian Restaurant, the Il Ponte at the Colombo Hilton. The young club managed to muster a turnout of 47 Italian cars in total, a new record for the club, and an impressive number for such a small outfit.
