Correction

The caption published on page 16 in yesterday’s paper was erroneous and should read Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi tying pirith thread to bless the Pakistani High Commissioner Seema Illahi Baloch at the behest of the Chief Monk of the Maharagama Temple. Daily FT regrets the error.
