Courtaulds holds ‘Dream Night’

On the night of 12 December 2010, employees of Courtaulds Clothing Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. experienced a spectacular event, the much-looked-forward-to event of the year, ‘Courtaulds Dream Night’ at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium.

The evening commenced with the lighting of the oil lamp by the Chief Guests Joint Managing Directors Charles Jackson and Stephen Hall and Finance Director Sarathchandra IIayperuma.

Rocking the evening in style, the stage was set for popular artists such as B&S, Shihan Mihiranga, Surendra Perera, Lahiru, Ginger, Amila Nadeeshani and many more.  Roshan Fernando with Flash Back backed the event with music.

Making the evening more unique and memorable, ‘Courtaulds Singing Stars’ were born, where the management and organising committee motivated and rewarded their employees from the factory floor to explore their singing talents.

Courtaulds Clothing is headquartered in the United Kingdom and is a part of the global apparel giant Pacific Dunlop Enterprises. Courtaulds Clothing Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. has six manufacturing facilities in Sri Lanka with a work force around 6,000. They manufacture both private labels and branded labels for both US and European retail markets.

The Courtaulds Clothing event, making a mark in the history of the apparel trade in Sri Lanka, was a memorable evening with glitter and glamour.
