Dr. Ranasoma appointed to Hayleys Board and as MD of Dipped Products

Top professional Dr. Mahesha Ranasoma has been appointed to the Board of Hayleys Plc as an executive director as well as Managing Director of Dipped Products Plc., with effect from April 1.

He succeeds J.A.G. Anandarajah who relinquishes office as the MD of Dipped Products. Anandarajah will continue as a Non Executive Director on DPL Board.

Dr. Ranasoma served as the Country Chairman/Managing Director of’ Shell in Sri Lanka viz. Shell Gas Lanka Limited and Shell Terminal Lanka Limited. He counts over 11 years of senior management experience in Shell and has over 6 years of Research and Development and teaching experience as a University Senior Lecturer in Civil/Costal Engineering. He has also provided Environmental Management expertise as a Consultant for major private sector and donor funded projects in Sri Lanka, prior to joining Shell. Dr. Ranasoma holds a First class Honours Degree in Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, a Doctorate from Cambridge University, UK and an MBA with Distinction from the Wales University, UK.
