Etihad Holidays has launched its new world-wide holiday programme covering 68 destinations in two brochures.
The two new outbound holiday programmes cover 25 countries in five continents and take into account Etihad Airways’ expanded network and increased flight frequencies to key destinations in Europe.
They also include a number of enhancements to assist travel agents and customers when selecting a holiday option, with a portfolio of “signature” and value hotels and a listing of the most popular packages and tours in all key destinations.
The brochures also include a range of additional features, informative country-by-country overviews, a ‘Do Not Miss’ section for each destination, and car rental and insurance options.
“We offer a fantastic choice of holidays across five continents including our latest destination of South Korea and the many attractions of India. We can also create tailor-made holidays, even to destinations not featured in the brochures, so the options are limitless,” said Chris Hunter, head of Etihad Holidays.
One of the key highlights of the new brochure is Paris, home to the world famous Eiffel Tower, Champs-Elysees and Disneyland Resort Paris.
Holidays to the French capital start from Dh 5,275 and include return economy airfares from Abu Dhabi and three nights’ accommodation with breakfast at the Le Meridien Etoile. Family breaks to Disneyland Paris start from Dh 5,385 including return flights and three nights’ accommodation with breakfast at the Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe and up to two children can stay and play free at Disneyland for bookings made before 12 April.
Another popular destination is the resort Island of Cyprus where packages start from Dh 2,260 at the Palm Beach Hotel and Bungalows in Larnaca for three nights’ accommodation with breakfast and return economy flights from Abu Dhabi.
The brochures, printed in English and Arabic, are available from Etihad Holidays shops in the UAE and across the GCC, from preferred travel agents, and at key travel exhibitions such as the Arabian Travel Market. They can also be accessed on the Etihad Holidays website.
Etihad to launch double daily flights from Manchester
Etihad Airways is to double its flight frequency between Manchester and Abu Dhabi from seven to fourteen flights per week from 1 August 2011.
The increase in flights extends Etihad’s commitment to Manchester and the North West region of England which includes the opening of a First and Business Class Lounge at Manchester Airport in November 2010.
“Etihad’s Manchester service has been a key part of our network for five years and we are very excited to announce we will soon offer 14 flights each week to Abu Dhabi,” said James Hogan, Etihad Airways Chief Executive Officer.
“The frequency increase illustrates how Etihad has firmly established itself in the North West of England and that we are now the airline of choice for business and leisure travellers, whether flying to Abu Dhabi from the region or enroute to and from destinations such as Australia, Thailand and Japan.”
Andrew Harrison, Manchester Airport’s Managing Director, added, “Following the increase in flights and the opening of the premium lounge in Terminal 1 at the end of last year, Etihad has again shown their commitment to the North of England by increasing the frequency of the service.”
The airline had previously announced that the 1 August 2011 increase would be from daily services to 10 flights a week.
