Hapag defers GRI

HAPAG-LLOYD will postpone the 1 November, 2010 GRI until 1 December, 2010.

With effect from 1 December, 2010 Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates for cargo from North America (with the exception of Canada origin via Canada West Coast) to East Asia, Indian Subcontinent and Middle East.

From Canada Origin via Canada West Coast the GRI remains in effect on 1 November, 2010.

East Asia comprises Japan, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China (PRC), Macao, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines, and the Russian Pacific Ports of Vladivostok and Vostochny. Middle East comprises Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, and the Red Sea Ports of Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
