Hutch customer drives away with SUV at the Abisheka Reload Senakeliya Grand Draw

Hutch customer Clearian Jaganathan, all the way from Maampuri, Puttalam, was amply rewarded for his loyalty when he became the winner of a brand new SUV from Hutch at the conclusion of its consumer promotion Hutch Abhisheka Reload Senakeliya programme. 

It was a grand New Year surprise for this lucky Hutch customer who drove away in his very own SUV after receiving the keys from the management of Hutch.

Jaganathan, who is a businessman involved in the vegetable trade says it has always been his dream to own a vehicle of his own. “I’ve been using a small truck for my businesses, and I’m so glad that I finally have a vehicle of my own, that my family can also use.  It is a dream come true” he said.

The Hutch Abhisheka programme, was initially introduced with the purpose of recognising and rewarding the company’s retailer network.  Based on its success and the feedback, the company decided to include their customers in this great rewards scheme.

The promotion, which kicked off on 1 September, 2010, ran full steam ahead rewarding daily, weekly, monthly winners of Hutch customers island wide.  Prizes were given away in abundance to every lucky Abisheka winner.  Pride of place amongst these was the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) – to be won by their luckiest customer.

In usual Abisheka style, this time round too Hutch retailers and District Sales Executives were part of the promotion and received their winnings of a Maruti car, Bangkok trips, motor bikes and laptops.

The grand prize for the best retailer was the Maruti car which was won by Mahadawan Duwaragan from Chavakachcheri, Jaffna.  

“I have been doing business with Hutch since December 2009 when they started their operations in Jaffna. I am overjoyed to have won this award by qualifying for the draw among all the best retailers in the entire island.  I can say I had mother luck on my side as I won the car beating  all the other areas who have been doing business with the company for a much longer time”.

Three Direct Sales Representatives of Hutch, Shakthivel Pradeepan from Jaffna, Tharanga Prasad Jayasekera, from Hambantota and M.L. Sudesh Indika Silva from Kalutara won motor bikes at the grand draw for the direct sales reps.

Sudesh Silva had made a commitment to himself that he would win the bike from his area.  He had enlisted the support of all his retailers by encouraging them to also excel in their retailing of Hutch. Since their combined efforts had made several customers from his area Abisheka winners, confidence levels were high.

Everyone participating in the Hutch Abisheka Reload Senakeliya promo, won a whole range of exciting prizes such as gas cookers, mobile phones, Tshirts, caps, gold coins, flat TV’s, trips abroad and laptops through September to December.
