The Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) adjudged the CIC Agri Business website for farmers www.navagoviya.lk as the country’s ‘Best e-Content Application’ in the e-Learning and Education category at the Annual e-Swabhimani 2010 awards ceremony held recently at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel.
The website, developed exclusively for the benefit of rural farmers, was carried out as a part of the company’s CSR efforts in uplifting the living standards of the farmers of Sri Lanka.
The annual award ceremony of ICTA-e-Swabahini was held under the patronage of Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa and Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga.
