IIFL wins Bloomberg’s ‘Best Equity Broker of the Year’ Award

In recognition of its unique and valuable contribution to India’s leading financiers and business leaders, IIFL India – a member of India’s premier global financial services group, the IIFL Group – was recognised as the ‘Best Equity Broker of the Year’ at the recently held Bloomberg UTV Financial Leadership Awards ceremony.

Country Head of IIFL Ceylon Priyani Ratna-Gopal emphasised the enormous advantage to Sri Lanka in being able to leverage the extensive range of services available to leading global investors.

When accepting the award from the Finance Minister of India Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Chairman of the IIFL Group Nirmal Jain praised the IIFL team saying that the award was “in recognition of the team IIFL’s 15,000 people who put in a tremendous effort to service customers with the best of our research and technology while maintaining the highest standards of integrity”.

He acknowledged that the award would also act as an inspiration for the IIFL Group to continue to scale new heights.
