Exciting events, valuable prizes, and promotional offers await residents and visitors in the last week of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) as the sixteenth edition concludes on February 20.
The last week packs in Arabic, Indian, and Filipino concerts, an international musical, spectacular shopping discounts, and amazing giveaways.
Creations, a Dubai Shopping Festival 2011 fashion event held in collaboration with Dubai Mall, will continue its dazzling catwalk shows which were attended by more than 1000 spectators during the first three days of the event.
Dubai Mall visitors will enjoy watching the spectators fashion shows by professional and amateur designers on February 17, 18 and 19 along with the fashion bazaar which includes elegant kiosks nears the Fashion Catwalk area, providing a preview of designer collections.
The series of exciting musical concerts by famous Arab singers comes to an end with Fadhel Shaker and Haifa Wehbe on February 18 at the Burj Steps near Burj Khalifa.
The last week will include a variety of international musical concerts including legendary Iranian singer Ostad Shajarian on February 17 at Dubai World Trade Centre’s Sheikh Rashid Hall.
Renowned Filipino stars and bands will perform at Zabeel Hall at the same venue on February 17.
Thousands of Indian fans will be looking forward to the concert featuring Jagjit Singh and Gulzar on February 18 at Dubai World Trade Centre as well.
Jazz and blues music lovers can enjoy three concerts at the Dubai Media City amphitheatre featuring Mika Paris and Alison Moyet and Jules Holland on February 16, Mandy Aper, Peter White and Macy Gray on February 17, and Jesse Jay, Joshwa Radin and Live House on February 18.
Boxing enthusiasts can watch live action in the ring with the Dubai International Boxing Championship. The Dubai World Trade Centre hosts this much-awaited event on February 18. Matches begin at 7pm.
Three Phantoms, an incredible and unique musical featuring stars from London’s West End, takes the stage this DSF at Ductac from Feb 17 to Feb 19. Based on the super hit musical The Phantom of the Opera, Three Phantoms is a must-watch for all theatre lovers.
Dubai Carnivals gathers at Emaar Boulevard area near Burj Khalifa on February 17, 18, and 19 for a colourful display hosting hundreds of performers. The Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group will continue giving lucky winners its valuable daily prize of half-a-kilo, along with a prize of 5 kilograms of gold on the last day.
