MasterCard brings ‘Diners’ Delight’ program to Sri Lanka this Avurudu

Offers savings on a spread of exquisite culinary experiences
Ringing in the spirit of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year early, MasterCard launched its ‘Diners’ Delight’ campaign in Sri Lanka today. Offering Platinum and World MasterCard cardholders 15% savings at some of the country’s finest dining establishments, the internationally celebrated program is set to bring friends and families closer this Avurudu season.
Initially being launched at over 20 restaurants, under the program, cardholders can indulge in a wide spread of gastronomic treats from across the world ranging from an exotic selection of Cantonese and Szechuan specialties to home-made pasta and pizzas to an explosive blend of American and Mexican flavours till the end of the year.

Widely appreciated by our cardholders, the Diners’ Delight program is our attempt to provide exquisite culinary experiences that complement their lifestyle,” said Vikas Varma, Area Head, South Asia, MasterCard.
“Being launched around the Avurudu season, we look forward to seeing cardholders rejoice with friends and family at some of the country’s most celebrated gourmet outlets. Going ahead, we plan to work with more dining establishments, offering our cardholders more reasons to celebrate,” he added.
Participating restaurants include Harbour Court, The Ocean, YueChuan, The Gourmet Station, The Kings, Sky Lounge, WaterScape and The Score at The Kingsbury; Il Ponte and Spices at the Hilton Colombo; Scarlet Room, Cloud Café, and Loft – Lounge Bar at the Colombo Courtyard; The Golden Dragon, Latitude and Navaratna at the Taj Samudra; Flavors and California Grill at the Galadari Hotel; HVN, ZAZA Bar, t-Republic, and the Poolside Lounge at CASA Colombo; the La Fiesta restaurant and bar; Kinnaree; Sugar Bistro and Wine Bar; and 41 Sugar.
The Diners’ Delight’ campaign is part of MasterCard’s renewed focus on Sri Lanka. Having identified the island nation as a key market in the South Asian region, MasterCard continues to roll out several country specific initiatives. Its recently concluded Spend and Win campaign offered Rs. 8 million worth of stay vouchers at select properties of Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts.
