Ranjith Wickramasinghe appointed to Asia Capital Board

Top professional Ranjith J. Wickramasinghe has been appointed to the Board of Asia Capital as a Non Executive Director.

He also serves in the same capacity on the Asian Alliance Insurance Plc Board.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and Member of the Institute of Data Processing UK, Wickramasinghe was former Chairman of Sri Lanka Ports Authority between 1996 and 1998 and Chairman of Ceylon Shipping Corporation from 1994 to 1996. He worked in the national shipping line between 1970 and 1977 as Deputy Finance Manager.

Among his private sector stints were as Finance Director George Steuart and Company from 2000 to 2002. Currently Wickramasinghe functions as consultant.
