The Subway restaurant chain, the largest submarine sandwich chain with a presence of over 42,000 restaurants in 107 countries, launched its debut outlet in Sri Lanka at R.A. De Mel Mawatha, Colombo. The franchise also plans to be the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) market leader within five years, with over 50 restaurants earmarked for Sri Lanka. Subway Development Ltd.
