CMA-CGM emerges victorious at ICS Awards 2021

Bags three of the most coveted awards

CMA CGM Lanka, the joint venture partner of French shipping giant CMA-CGM Group, emerged victorious at the recently held ICS Awards 2021, organised by the Sri Lanka chapter of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers – UK. The company was recognised as the best liner shipping agent for 2021 in the Colombo-Indian Subcontinent trade, Colombo-Red Sea and Gulf trade and Overall Imports trade categories.

Commenting on the win, CMA CGM Lanka Ltd. Director/General Manager Umindha Dunuwille said, “It takes exceptional team loyalty and dedication to be able to deliver beyond customer expectations during such unprecedented times like that of the past year. With the COVID-19 pandemic severely affecting global trade and logistics, the industry as a whole had to make radical changes and adapt swiftly in order to ensure that the flow of goods was not hindered.
