Evergreen Shipping Agency Lanka (ELK) bagged the award for Best Customer Service under the Colombo/Gulf and Red Sea trade lane (export category) at the 29th Annual Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) Customer Service Awards held recently.
Nominated amongst other major shipping lines and voted for by customers for maintaining high service standards, this is Evergreen’s third win in the above category since 2017. The event was held at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo under the patronage of distinguished guests, including the Ports, Shipping and Aviation Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva, French Ambassador Jean-François Pactet and Sri Lanka Ports Authority Chairman Keith Bernard.
The ICS Customer Service Awards are presented to shipping lines based on the results of a customer survey, and Evergreen Shipping Agency Lanka is grateful to all its loyal clientele who bestowed it with the prestigious accolade for the third time. The recognition brings much joy and encouragement to Evergreen since it recognises the resilience shown by the team throughout 2022 to uphold customer satisfaction despite the many challenges faced due to domestic economic instability and global supply-chain disruptions. The company extended its appreciation to Sales and Marketing, and Customer Service teams for their commitment and valuable support, which contributed to winning this award.
