First global feeder ship under new agent calls at Port of Colombo

GFS Lanka Ltd., a Ceyline Group company, successfully handled MV Mogral, the first vessel to call the Port of Colombo since Ceyline took over officially as exclusive agents for Global Feeder Shipping LLC. 

The MV Mogral, the 3,400 TEU feeder vessel, berthed at SAGT terminal on Saturday 15 December. After an exchange of approximately 2,000 containers, the ship departed Colombo on route to Cochin, its next port of call.  

In honour of this special occasion a plaque was presented to the Master of the Vessel by Ceyline Group Executive Chairman Capt. Ajith Peiris. Sri Lanka Ports Authority Managing Director Capt. Athula Hewavitharane, Habour Master Capt. Nirmal Silva and officials from SAGT Terminal attended the presentation ceremony.
