Global Feeder Shipping partners with Ceyline Group in Colombo

Global Feeder Shipping LLC, the Dubai-based feeder shipping giant will be represented by Ceyline Group in the hub port of Colombo with effect from 1 December. The new GFS Lanka Ltd. office at the Ceyline Building in Colombo 3 was ceremoniously declared open with the blessings of Global Feeder Shipping LLC Vice Chairman C.F. George.

Global Feeder Shipping is currently the second largest feeder operator in Colombo, transporting volumes of over 6,000 TEUS weekly catering to almost all Main Line and NVOCC operators. GFS have a fleet of 15 own ships, largest being a 6500teu ship and operate about 30 along with partners.

Ceyline Group Executive Chairman Capt. Ajith Peiris stated that he was honoured and grateful for the trust Global Feeder Shipping had placed in Ceyline and encouraged the new GFS Lanka team to take the operations in Colombo to greater heights.  

The first vessel officially handled by the new GFS Lanka team will be on 11 December.
