The International Airline and Aviation Campus (IAAC), a leading aviation training provider in Sri Lanka, is set to establish a state-of-the-art facility at the Colombo International Airport Ratmalana. To date, over 3,000 graduates have successfully completed their training at IAAC, with students hailing from 16 different countries. The academy prides itself on its dual-education programs and offers courses taught by 20+ highly qualified aviation professionals, making it a top destination for aviation education in Asia. The upcoming facility at Ratmalana is a significant step forward for IAAC as it looks to expand its footprint and further enhance the quality of its training. At the new Ratmalana facility, IAAC will offer specialised training across various fields, including, cabin crew training, cargo logistics, airport operations, airline ticketing and marketing, and aviation management. The addition of this training centre is expected to significantly contribute to the growth of the country’s aviation sector while also providing a boost to the local economy by attracting more students and professionals.
As Ratmalana Airport continues to evolve into a major commercial and domestic aviation hub, IAAC’s presence is strategically timed to meet the increasing demand for skilled professionals. The official opening of the new facility is anticipated in the coming months, with enrolment now open for the first batch of students.
