Masterclass on special cargo handling

Shippers’ Academy Colombo will be conducting a masterclass on special cargo handling, on 12 September at the Distance Learning Centre, SLIDA, Colombo 7. The lecture will be delivered by industry veteran of over 30 years Vasantha Dias.

The topics will cover the three main areas of special cargo handling, Hazardous/Dangerous Cargo, Out of Guage Cargo and Reefer Cargo. The subject areas are relevant for all shipping lines, logistics and other service providers, exporters, importers and traders who are involved in dangerous cargo and project cargo handling. The contents are critical for logistics managers as these specific subjects would assist them to learn and manage special cargo.
