SLAVO congratulates new President AKD

The Sri Lanka Association of Vessel Operators (SLAVO) has extended its warmest congratulations to Anura Kumara Dissanayake on his election as the 9th Executive President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

In a statement SLAVO said it is confident that under his leadership the maritime industry in Sri Lanka and the country will move towards progress and prosperity.

SLAVO was established in 1995 and is one of the oldest associations in the Maritime industry and represents the interest of all major shipping lines operating in Sri Lanka. It is in fact the only organisation that represents the global ship owners and principals. The main objective of our association is to seek solutions on areas concerning the shipping principals thus making their presence grow.

“We wish to extend our fullest cooperation in making Sri Lanka grow to its full potential thereby being the first choice of the shipping lines in the region,” SLAVO added.
