Maldives State Shipping (MSS) Managing Director and CEO Ahmed Shareef of the paid a curtesy call on Colombo Dockyard PLC Managing Director /CEO Thimira S. Godakumbura, on 10 January 2024. The high-level MSS delegation headed by Ahmed Shareef comprised of Deputy Managing Director Capt. Ahmed Zubair, Chief Operating Officer Capt. Ibrahim Rafeeu, Senior Commercial Manager Thaha Mohamed, and Aminath Shimna.

Colombo Dockyard PLC (CDPLC) has been providing ship repair and ship building facilities to the Republic of Maldives for over four decades. Colombo Dockyard operates in collaboration with Onomichi Dockyard Co. Ltd., Japan.
