‘Theertha’, the official newspaper of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA), was recently published and relaunched as a magazine.

The first copy of ‘Theertha’ magazine was presented to SLPA Chairman General Daya Ratnayake by the Chief Manager (Communications and Public Relations) Chitral Jayawarna.

Launched in 2006, ‘Theertha’ is the only dedicated newspaper in Sri Lanka to cover ports and maritime affairs. Taking into consideration the feedback received from the readers and with the aim of popularising the publication to a new target group, ‘Theertha’ newspaper was redirected to the magazine format.

‘Theertha’ magazine is published and distributed by the Communications and Public Relations Division of the SLPA.
