The Sri Lanka Ship Suppliers Association (SLSSA) held its 46th Annual General Meeting recently with Sri Lanka Ports Authority Harbour Master Capt. Nirmal P. Silva as the Chief Guest.
SLSSA was established in 1973 for the betterment of the ship chandlers in Sri Lanka with the objective to affect the interchange of ideas, information and business methods increasing the efficiency of the trade, to represent the members of the SLSSA to Government authority including Sri Lanka Custom, Sri Lanka Ports Authority and other state institutions and Ceylon Association of Shipping Agents.
The Association always endeavours to establish and maintain the dignity of the ship supply trade with its international partners.
Members of SLSSA earn the much-needed foreign exchange for the country by establishing contact at international levels with ship owners, managers and operators throughout the world.
Sri Lanka Ship Suppliers Association with a membership of 92 members elected its new office bearers for the 2021/2022 at the AGM.
