Abacus and Transaero sign agreement to increase footprint in Central Asia

Abacus International and Transaero Airlines, Russia’s second largest air carrier, announced that they have signed a marketing agreement that will allow for further growth by Transaero across the region.

Under the document, Abacus and Transaero agree to work more closely together in order to increase volume of bookings on Transaero Airlines flights via the cost-effective Abacus system in expansion efforts within Central Asia, amplifying its marketing and sales reach through Abacus’ extensive network. This will allow for the use of more revenue maximisation functionalities offered by Abacus and provide wider coverage for all its agents.

Having established a significant presence in Kazakhstan, Abacus is investing substantial amount of resources to deploy Abacus’ award winning technologies and solutions in achieving a wider reach throughout Central Asia. Transaero, the largest carrier on routes between Russia and Kazakhstan, intends to generate additional sales in the region by implementing new distribution tools.
