The AirAsia Group will move all of its operations from the current LCC Terminal (LCCT) in Sepang (Kuala Lumpur) to the new klia2 on Friday, 9 May.
All scheduled departures from the LCCT on Thursday, 8 May will operate as per normal, and all passengers with bookings departing Kuala Lumpur on that day are advised to still go to the LCCT to board their flights.
AirAsia has said that all affected passengers will be informed via email and SMS about this change of airport and can contact the airline if they have any further questions.
With a larger build-up area, AirAsia baggage-drop counters will be open for 3 hours (180mins) before scheduled departure time, and will close one hour (60mins) before scheduled departure time for both international and domestic flights.
All immigration and security counters will still be operational in the current LCCT from 2-8 May, therefore travellers need not worry about any inconvenience while going through the LCCT during the transition period.
