ALAE and SriLankan Airlines sign new Collective Agreement

SriLankan Airlines and the Association of Licensed Aircraft Engineers signed a new collective agreement recently for a period of three years from 2014.
This agreement mutually recognises the importance of enhancing productivity and contributing to business priorities whilst addressing the needs of the aircraft engineers in keeping with industry trends and employee retention demands.
SriLankan engineers represent an integral component of the airline that makes a significant contribution towards its overall functioning and its mission to become the most preferred airline in Asia.
Through the mutual beneficial agreement, SriLankan management recognises the efforts of the engineers towards enhancing productivity and overall efficiency of the airline.
The airline views this agreement as an exemplary achievement which was executed in line with the company’s future expansion plans and overall objectives and calls on all employee groups to work towards the managements’ slogan, ‘Working together and winning together’.
