Reuters: Shipping freight rates for transporting containers from ports in Asia to Northern Europe fell 2.9% to $ 1,713 per 20-foot container (TEU) in the week ended on Friday, one source with access to data from the Shanghai Containerised Freight Index told Reuters.
Denmark’s Maersk Line has a market share of around 20% on the busy route between Asia and Europe.
