CINEC signs MoU with Korea Maritime and Ocean University

In pursuit of excellence in the dissemination of knowledge to generate mutual benefit within a framework of openness, fairness and equity, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Colombo International Nautical and Engineering College (CINEC) and the Korea Maritime and Ocean University recently in Korea. 

CINEC will collaborate with KMOU to develop collaborative activities in academic and educational areas. It was also agreed that students of CINEC would be invited to attend summer schools conducted by KMOU with accommodation and special rates for fees. 

CINEC was represented by its President Capt. Ajith Peiris and Director of International Cooperation, Prof. N. Rajkumar. It also visited the Korea Institute of Maritime and Fisheries Technology (KIMFT) and had constructive discussions for mutually beneficial collaboration and thereafter toured the campus. It was also agreed that a team from KIMFT would visit CINEC to sign an MoU for collaborative activities between the two institutions.
