CMA CGM wins ‘Best Shipping Agent Award for Customer Service’

CMA CGM Lanka Ltd., a subsidiary of Hayleys Advantis Limited and representing CMA CGM S.A Marseille – the third largest container carrier in the world – has been awarded the ‘Best Shipping Agent Award for Customer Service – Colombo to Mediterranean Sector’ for 2012 by the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Sri Lanka Branch.

This award was presented to CMA CGM at the recently concluded Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers Sri Lanka, Awards Ceremony for 2012 which was held at the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel on 15 February 2013 by Bruce Ogilvy, International Vice-President of The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS), UK.

The CMA CGM Group is a well-established entity in the global container shipping industry and has deployed over 400 vessels in a number of trade lanes and serves clients through a wide network of 650 agencies in over 200 countries. This expertise and commitment to achieve service excellence is the main reason why CMA CGM Lanka was able to win the ‘Best Shipping Agent Award for Customer Service’ for the fourth consecutive year and eight times in total – six times from Colombo to Mediterranean sector, one time from Colombo to Gulf sector and one time from Colombo to the USA sector.
