Colombo Dockyard relaunches web site

Colombo Dockyard re-launched its corporate website www.cdl.lk to coincide with the Shipyard’s 37th anniversary.

The site was officially placed online by Chairman Akihiko Nakauchi and Managing Director and CEO Mangala P.B. Yapa.

The new website has a modern outlook, crisp feel to it and is extremely user friendly. It provides the user, the facility to navigate through the subject areas of their interest, quite conveniently.

It has several interactive and advanced features keeping pace with changing times and expectations of diverse tech-savvy users.  The user can also explore products and services, capacities, capabilities of the Shipyard and find out current and up to date information. In fact with the new website, the user can visit the shipyard, virtually. The video and photo galleries provide a wide range of selection of our products and services.

From now on, users can also subscribe to our ‘COLDOCK TIMES’ the quarterly newsletter published by the Shipyard, initiate Vendor Registration, initiate Job Inquiries etc... through the web. Colombo Dockyard the premier Shipbuilding and Ship repairing entity in Sri Lanka established in 1974 has gained international recognition for Quality, Price competitiveness and timely deliveries.

“This is yet another initiative taken by the Shipyard embracing new technology to serve its stakeholders better,” a spokesman said.

The site was developed in collaborative consultation with the leading software developer BenWorldWide.
