The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Sri Lanka (CILT) conducts Logistics Evenings in line with the principal objective of the institute to promote and encourage the art and science of logistics and transport.

This year, CILT has organised monthly events to provide a platform for various State authorities who manage the Logistics infrastructure in the country to share the future developmental plans for the respective sectors.

In this seminar series, the next Logistics Evening will take place as a panel discussion.

This will be done through the involvement of members from various user associations, as well as the relevant authorities so that a critical analysis could be done by all stakeholders involved in the process.

The panel discussion, followed by a Q&A session, will take place on 21 June at 5:30 p.m. at the Ceylon Continental Hotel, Colombo.

The Sri Lanka Ports Authority Chairman and a representative from Sri Lanka Customs would represent the authorities involved in the relevant sectors at this discussion.

Industry experts, educational service providers, students and professionals from the logistic industry will be participating at this event and it will be an opportunity for brain storming and showcasing logistics/transport organisations.
