COSCO wins the Best CSR award from Corporate Governance Asia

Recently, COSCO International, having excelled over thousand of Asian participating companies, won the Best CSR (China Company) in the Asian Excellence Recognition Awards 2012, organised by Corporate Governance Asia, an international renowned journal, in Hong Kong.

The award evidenced that the Company’s efforts on maintaining high standard of corporate governance and fulfilling its social responsibility received wide recognition by the community.

‘Asian Excellence Recognition Awards is a public competition organised by Corporate Governance Asia for the second year. The award aims to recognise excellence in investor relations, business ethics, corporate social responsibility, environmental practices and financial performance.

The scoring of the awards and recognitions are mainly based on the votes from the investment community and industry experts in the aforesaid areas. COSCO International is one of the 17 awardees winning the Best CSR award in Asian region this year.
