DHL the world’s leading international express services provider, recently opened three new DHL service points in Negombo, Maharagama and Ratnapura, increasing its retail foot print to 19 across the island.
The new service points are in line with DHL’s strategy to expand its footprint across Sri Lanka and provide greater accessibility to customers as the company taps a progressing local economy.
Malcolm Monteiro, SVP and Area Director, DHL Express South Asia, said, “At DHL, our efforts are targeted towards ensuring we help our customers take their businesses to the next level – with our global and local expertise.
“The footprint expansion is a part of the larger plan to be more accessible to our customers in Sri Lanka. Negombo, Maharagama and Rathnapura are rapidly developing towns in Sri Lanka and our presence there is a testimony of our commitment to facilitate the progressing economy in the country.”
These three DHL service points – like the 16 others across the island – provide a wide spectrum of logistics services such as time-definite services with simplified pricing approach, standardised packaging, and track and trace capability of shipment.
All three DHL service points are strategically located and will be open from Monday to Saturday.
