Eagle Logistics opens fifth branch

Import logistics specialist Eagle Logistics Colombo opened its 5th branch at Colombo 14 on 2 January 2014 with religious activities. “This branch is to service customers in and around this area and it will help to reduce operational times due to it being located just a few kilometres from the port of Colombo and Sri Lanka customs, and customers could use this office for all the services such as customer service, sales and marketing, D/O releasing etc,” Eagle Logistics Senior Manager Ashan Fernando said.

He also said that Colombo 14 has a huge potential as most of the traders and spare parts dealers are situated in this area and they are in need of a professional import logistics specialist services. “We did a market survey three months before and realised that these customers are having many difficulties when importing their goods. We studied all of these issues and now our office will start introducing these solutions to the customers,” Fernando added. Eagle Logistics has two offices at Colombo 7 (head office and corporate) and also operates from Biyagama, Katunayake, Homagama and Moratuwa with serving over 200 customers.
