Eagle Logistics opens Sri Lanka’s 1st HBL centre in Fort

Supply chain logistics company Eagle Logistics Colombo opened its first HBL centre in Fort last Friday. Eagle Logistics will be the first logistics company to open an office only for delivery orders in Colombo. 

Head of Operations Nuwan Wickramasighe advised that this office will give all the importers’ clearing agents easy access to collect their delivery orders in Fort where the Sri Lanka customs, BOI and port are located. Further he said that this office located within walking distance from all the above authorities and importers will further save time in the clearing process. Also Eagle Logistics AGM Ashan Fernando advised that every importer is looking forward to reduce the shipping time, which includes inland customs clearing time, and improve the supply chain; so as a logistics company it is their duty to see all the areas to improve and not just the freight cost. 

Eagle Logistics Colombo has seven branch offices now and the corporate office is located at RA De Mel Mawatha.
