Supply chain management company Eagle Logistics Colombo is facilitating another forum with National Medicine Regulatory Authority (NMRA) for its customers who are importing medical devices in Sri Lanka.

This will be held on 22 September from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Mahaweli Kendraya Colombo 07. Eagle Logistics has identified that many non-compliances have been due to lack of regularity awareness and they have invited the officials of NMRA to conduct same.

This is another event organised by CSR Unit of Eagle Logistics. Eagle Logistics Managing Director Asanga Weerackody said, “We as supply chain logistics companies should understand the need of our customers, not just the cost of the process, but all aspects of the operations and find this type of methods which will help them to gain knowledge and speed up the lead times from the time they find a product to the time they deliver same to their customers.

Further he said, “We will continue this type of forum with other regulatory bodies like TRC, import control etc.” Also he thanked the officials of NMRA for being willing to do this program and importers are delighted to participate.

CSR Unit of Eagle Logistics informed that this will be a free of charge program which any company could participate in by calling and registering on 0714557734/0714567395.
