Evergreen Line in rate restoration on Far East/Indian Sub-Continent to Europe and Mediterranean West

In a continued effort to provide customers with the reliable and efficient level of service, Evergreen Line has announced to implement rate restoration program from JUL/01/2012 for Far East (including Japan)/Indian Sub-Continent to Europe and Mediterranean Westbound Trade and will apply to all cargoes and commodities, including temperature-controlled and special equipment.

The details are as below:

1. Far East (including Japan) Europe/Mediterranean Westbound Trade

   Effective Date: JUL/01/2012 (On Board Date)

   QUANTUM: USD500/20’?USD1,000/40’?USD1,000/40’HQ

2. Indian Sub-Continent Europe / Mediterranean Westbound Trade

   Effective Date: JUL/01/2012 (On Board Date)

   QUANTUM: USD250/20’?USD500/40’?USD500/40’HQ

The latest move comes after in May Evergreen Line announcing a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) on Far East/ Indian Sub-Continent to Europe Westbound Trade considering foreseeable strong space demand and incremental costs on supplying with sufficient empties in the coming months.

The Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) were:

Service Scope: From F.E. (including Japan) & ISC area to EUR W/B trade

Effective Date: From June/01/2012 (on board date) till future notice.

Quantum: USD 300/20’?USD 600/40’?USD 600/40’HQ
