G6 Alliance adjusts Pacific Atlantic service

Members of the G6 Alliance have recently adjusted its Pacific Atlantic service in response to seasonal changes in market demand. The Pacific Atlantic 2 (PA2) service will temporarily stop calling European ports and instead turn around on the US East Coast. This service portfolio between Asia and North America East Coast continues unchanged. After the service adjustment, the port rotation of the PA2 service be Kaohsiung-Busa-Kobe-Tokyo-Balboa-Panama-Colon Manzanillo-Miami-Jacksonville-Savannah-Charleston-New York-Norfolk-Charleston-Colon Manzanillo-Panama-Balboa-San Pedro-Oakland-Tokyo-Kobe-Kaohsiung. The G6 Alliance said it continues to offer a variety of services between North America, East Coast and Europe covering all major ports with weekly sailings. Additional service adjustments will be made where necessary to meet market demand. The G6 Alliance also offers a wide range of services on the Asia-US West Coast and the Asia-Europe trade lanes. The G6 Alliance members are APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Mitsui OSK Lines, Nippon Yushen Kaisha and Orient Overseas Container Line.
