Hapag-Lloyd will implement a Port Congestion Surcharge with effect from 15 August, 2011 at Nhava Sheva following the further deterioration of port conditions resulting in poor productivity and other operational issues.
“In order to maintain our level of service, Hapag-Lloyd will implement a Port Congestion Surcharge for all cargoes and all container types from Asia and Oceania to/via Nhava Sheva on a collect basis as follows: USD 80 per TEU with effect from 15 August, 2011,” the carrier said.
