‘K’ Line’s car carrier Hyperion Highway makes maiden call at Hambantota Port

K ‘Line’s newest car carrier M/V ‘HYPERION HIGHWAY’ called at the Magam Pura Mahinda Rajapaksa Port at Hambantota on 12 January. 

The vessel discharged 523 units motor vehicles imported from Japan. The Sri Lanka agents for the vessel M/V HYPERION HIGHWAY, 

ABC Shipping Ltd. arranged a plaque ceremony on board the vessel to mark the occasion between SLPA represented Chief Operations MRMRP Manager Nimal Jayathissa and the Master of the vessel Capt. D. Milko Stredovski to commemorate the maiden call. M/V HYPERION HIGHWAY has a LOA of 199.5 M and Cargo capacity of 7,700 units.

ABC Shipping Chairman John Shiran Dissanayke, the agents for K ‘Line, Tressel Silva General Manager Operations and Logistics ‘K’  Line, Suranga Peries, Sarath Perera from MRMRP and Wasantha Talagala, Reggie Dias and Premalal from ABC Shipping attended the ceremony.
