Ocean Trade & Logistics Ltd., one of the leading logistics companies in the island, has turned over a new leaf in the export market by launching a website (www.lk2mv.com) for direct exports from Sri Lanka.
The website enables local manufacturers to send their products to the doorsteps of their foreign customers. All what the local manufacturers need to do is to advertise their products on lk2mv.com and once a foreign customer offers to purchase the goods, Ocean Trade & Logistics will take the responsibility of transporting and all other intermediate requirements, which will be a great support to manufacturers in Sri Lanka.
The launchof the new website was held at Food & Beverage Exhibition, Male, Maldives with the participation of Minister of State for Communication, Science and Technology Ali Solih as Chief Guest and Deputy Economic Minister Hussain Zamir, Maldives Transport & Contracting Company Managing Director Hassan Sha, Member or Parliament Abdul Gafoor, Ocean Logistic Maldives’ Mohommed Waheed, TTS Maldives Chairman Mohommed Nabeel, invitees of FHAM Exhibition and a delegation of Sri Lanka-Maldives Business Council.
The exhibition was held on 14-16 July. www.lk2mv.com website facilitates the sale of boats, boat accessories, construction machineries and raw materials, apparels, fertiliser, vegetables, fruits, hotel supplies, packaging materials, promotional materials, motor spare parts, water seal accessories, and kids’ instruments. The founder of the website, Ocean Trade & Logistics Managing Director Sudesh Mendis described this as a giant step that puts Sri Lankan exports in a new track.
